Desert Sports is Terlingua's only Bike Shop. These are the guys that pioneered most of the cycling routes in the area and they're the best source of cycling information in the area. Very friendly and helpful. The shop offers a full service bike shop as well as bike rentals, shipping service, and Guided one day or multi-day mountain bike trips. They also do guided river trips, rent rafts and canoes, and provide shuttle services. Check with them about irregularly scheduled group rides and events. The shop has a pretty good parts selection, but often has to order specialty items. If you have non-standard parts requirements (trick wheels with ceramic spokes for example) Make sure you bring a few spare parts with you.
